Over time, I've created many illustrations to meet specific communication needs. Some have been all the way from concept to production, others stopping short of production.
Imagination Mural
I came up with the concept for this wall mural and art directed it through production. For the Viasat Marketing space, we needed a fun, creative mural that communicated what Viasat did. I decided to use a quote from Einstein and use kids' activities to communicate the five main industries Viasat marketed in: Mobility (Aviation and Maritime), Home Internet, Government, Business Internet, and Space Innovation.
International Data Links Symposium (IDLS) Trade Show Booth Graphics
At this particular annual event, Viasat was well known for always taking on a fun theme related to the country the show was taking place in. This was the one event where we could take liberties with our visual brand (it was also before the Viasat rebrand), so I illustrated booth graphics in the style of Shag (Josh Agle). Some of the products being promoted at the show were test software and equipment, and I incorporated them into the illustrations as well as the engineers behind the products (who were also going to be at the show). I worked on these graphics from concept through production, and they were a big hit with the audience as well as the employees.
