Tech for Change Branding
DESIGN / STRATEGY / COPY
Tech for Change, a non-profit organization solving civic problems through technology, needed a brand.
I devised the creative strategy, logo, visual identity system, and concepts to activate the brand.
Tech for Change is the parent brand for other organizations and initiatives, all of which strive to bring positive transformations for citizens and communities through technology. To this end, a bright, uplifting visual identity was essential.
The logo symbol is comprised of different shapes and colors representing a diversity of people and projects coming together in a synergistic, integrated way to form a tool for change (such as a drill or hammer). Those colors and shapes can come together in a variety of ways in campaigns and activations, to give the brand flexibility and longevity.



Social Media Campaigns
I created some social media concepts to illustrate the visual range of the brand, while also conveying key brand messages for integrated campaigns.

Iconography
Unique iconography was designed for this brand.
Typography
Typography was defined for the visual identity system, using modern, clean, tech, but friendly fonts that complemented the logo.

Color Palette
And of course the bright, vibrant color palette was spelled out with primary, secondary, and tertiary hierarchy for the brand.
